Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Meeting of the young scientists and German scientist Hartmurt Muller was held at the Institute of Zoology.

The scientist gave young people more information about the research conducted by them in Azerbaijan in the field of biological diversity.

Note that H.Muller lived for many years in Azerbaijan and studied its unique nature. In 2008-2012, German scientist, served as director of Shirvan National Park. During the research, conduction with his participation, new species were discovered in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting H.Muller also noted the great importance of nature conservation and spoke about the international experience in this field. In addition, he gave information about the work successfully carried out in Azerbaijan to preserve the cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity.

During the meeting they discussed issues concerning the study of biodiversity, nature conservation, the environment, etc.
