In the XIX issue of the scientific-journalistic journal "Azerbaijani carpets" - one of the scientific publications on art and history of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, includes materials official chronicle relating to the social, cultural and scientific life of our country, as well as the author's publications, research articles, interesting transfers devoted to issues of culture, history, specific areas of arts and crafts.

The journal presents reports on the Days of Culture of Dagestan in Baku meeting of Azerbaijani and Dagestani scientists devoted to discussing the results of the research project "Derbent carpet." It also published articles on the First International Symposium on "Patterns - a common language of the Turkic world", held in Baku, the events that took place within its framework, and reports. The issue also contains articles by Academician Kamal Abdullayev's "Practice of the Republic of Azerbaijan in ensuring the multicultural safety", Vidadi Muradov’s "From the history of development of the construction business in the Nakhchivan region", PhD in History Irada Mammadova’s "Reflection lifestyle of Azerbaijani Turks in the work A.Saltykov’s “Journey to Iran", PhD in History Habiba Aliyeva "Inscriptions on medieval weapons of Azerbaijan", and the materials on the history, architecture, and material culture of the city of Sheki, which is to address the TURKSOY awarded the title of "Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2016".
