Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies on behalf of Academician Ziya Bunyadov corresponding member of ANAS Govhar Bakhshaliyeva attended the event held at the Lyceum on behalf of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva in the Baku city, Yasamal district.

She spoke about achievements obtained in education during years of independence in Azerbaijan. Making speech on successful reforms in education field in this period the scientist noted about the creation of legal base of education at the Milli Majlis as well as adoption of “Law of Science”, meeting modern requirements.

G. Bakshaliyeva brought to mind the successful development of Azerbaijan education system and its integration to the world and stated that, the schools were built in all regions of the country, including the most remote villages, and these educational institutions have been provided with the advanced information technologies.

Later on, students of XI grade listened G. Bakhshaliyeva’s lecture “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan”.

Deputy of Milli Majlis also noted about achievements of the country gained after national leader Heydar Aliyev’s coming to the power in 1969. Currently, national leader’s political course is decently implemented by President Ilham Aliyev, she stressed out.
