Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh and Head of the Scientific and organizational management, Doctor of Technical Sciences Aminaga Sadigovwith the aim of taking part in an event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the founding of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Belarusian Science Day, recovered with a visit to Minsk. During visit the delegation of ANAS took part in the international scientific and practical conference “Science — Society Development by an Innovative Way”, and also in the solemn meeting devoted to the 85 anniversary from the date of the basis of National academy of Sciences of Belarus and Day of the Belarusian science. On action Akif Alizadeh made the report and gave interview to representatives of mass media. On January 24, 2014 the prime minister of Republic of Belarus M.V.Myasnikovich held a meeting with the president of National academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. During a meeting the academician A. Alizadeh put forward the offers and recommendations in the direction of cooperation development in the field of science and technology. Note that during visit Akif Alizadeh carried out a number of meetings at the Department of Earth Sciences, National Academy of Sciences, acquainted with the activities of the National Library of Belarus.
