Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

An associate of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS, Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Bakhtiyar Najafov was elected an active member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

October 11, at the general meeting of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences election results of active members of this structure was approved. At the meeting, by secret ballot were announced the names of 21 scientists, recognized at the international level. Among them is also the name of the Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Bakhtiyar Najafov.

Note that B.Najafov is a scientist involved in the preparation of detectors and solar cells. In 2015 he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The scientist was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Science and Education" of the structure, and awarded diplomas and medals of a number of international organizations.
