The seismic stations of the Republican Seismological Survey Center of ANAS held a seminar-training to improve the quality of work and the study of the principles of operation of equipment installed in stations.

General Director of the center, corresponding member of ANAS Gurban Yetirmishli informed the participants that in the regions of the country operate 35 telemetric seismic stations, installed GPS stations, geophysical-geochemical work station. Stressing the importance for employees in-depth study of the principles of the installed equipment at the stations, the Director General reported that all stations will be provided with the necessary instructions and manuals. G.Yetirmishli noted that despite the location of seismic stations in the highlands all the necessary conditions for the winter season were created.

The speakers included the chief engineer of RSSC Rauf Muradov, Deputy Director General Ramiz Isgandarov.

Head Department "Geodynamics" RSSC, PhD in geological-mineralogical sciences Ilyas Kazimov held staff training in the study of the operating principle of the GPS-stations.

The training seminar will last two days.
