Thesis topics of PhD students of ANAS DPMTS and DCS were approved

Next assembly of the Presidium of ANAS was held.

Assembly has been dedicated to admission of PhD students for PhD training from ANAS Department of Physical Mathematical and Technical Sciences (DPMTS) and Department of Chemical Sciences (DCS) to the intramural (3 years) and extramural (4 years) education, as well as approve of their thesis topics.

As known, 205 place (126 intramural, 79 extramural) have been allocated for PhD training in ANAS institute and organizations for 2013. Thus, 31 places were allocated for institute and organizations of DPMTS, 24 places for DCS.

PhD students’ thesis topics were discussed, discussions were held over.

ANAS president acad. Akif Alizadeh noted the necessity of selecting thesis topics, and made speech on significance of PhD students’ probation at prestigious scientific center and laboratories for successful implementation of their research works.

Spoke about advantages of application of bio, nano, info technologies in proper science areas, academician-secretary and corresponding member of ANAS Dr. Technology prof. Rasim Alguliyev noted that, thesis topics shall be selected in accordance to modern requirements.
