On April 11, at the electronic conference hall of the Institute of Literature after Nizami took place a meeting devoted to the results of 2016.

Institute director, Vice-President of ANAS Academician Isa Habibbeyli noted about creative meetings which were held during 1976-1984 subsequently. Academician said that, these meetings play an important role in formation of young literary generation, and revealing their talent.

At this year’s meeting, journalism, Azerbaijan literature in Russian have been involved in research, literary ties were looked through in two directions – Azerbaijan-Western literature and Azerbaijan-Turkic nations, he said.

Academician I.Habibeyli also informed about the publication of the book composed of lectures from meetings of literary process and noted that, in a current year 20 lecturers will report on various topics covering all spheres of literary process.

PhD in Philology Elnara Akimova “A literary landscape of the year”, Dr. Philology Javanshir Yusifli “Poetry”, PhD in Philology Nargiz Jabbarli “Novel (historical and modern novels)”, PhD in Philology Aynur Khalilova “A story”, Dr. Philology Vagif Yusifli “The literary life in the regions” and other topics were listened at the meeting.
