The rector of the Baku State University (BSU), Academician Abel Maharramov took part in the expanded meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Association of Universities (EAU), held in the scientific library of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

The meeting discussed issues of deepening the interaction of the universities of the EAU in the field of educational and scientific activities, in particular, the participation of these universities in the newly created Moscow world ranking of universities "Three missions of the University."

Rector of Moscow State University, chairman of the Russian Union of Rectors, chairman of the EAU Viktor Sadovnichin on behalf of the EAU congratulated Abel Maharramov on his election as a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and presented him a memorable gift.

A. Maharramov noted that the Moscow State University, headed by Viktor Sadovnichin, a quarter of a century, thanks to his efforts became the undisputed leader of Russian higher education, one of the most authoritative universities in the world.
