Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

“Karim khan Zand” work by researcher-scientist Mahbuba Tehrani, a teacher of Shahid Behishti University of Iran, was reelased by the Institute of Manuscripts after M.Fuzuli of ANAS.

The book published at the “Science and Education” has been translated from Persian into Azerbaijani by a leading researcher, Ph.D in philology Akram Baghirov.

The situation in the country after assassination of Nadir Shah Afshar (1747), emerge of Lor kin in the historical arena, struggle of Karim Khan Zand, the commander of the Afshars state for throne, his ruling period, bloody collisions of Karim khan Zand’s succesors for a thore after his death (1779-1794) have been investigated on the basis of serious historical sources in the book.

Author has tpuched upon cultural-liteary life of that time and gave some samples from creativities of cultural figures as well.
