Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS held a meeting with scientists who won the grant projects.

At the event, chairman of the Branch Academician Ismayil Hajiyev told about care and attention at the high level to the science development and dealt with grant projects, implemented by Science Development Foundation via competitions, created by the President. He stated that, purpose of the implementing grant competitions is to boost researches carried out in various scientific fields in the country.

Scientist noted that, since 2011 branch employees had won grant projects of 20 international and republic level.

Head of grant project Academic Tariyel Talibov made speech on “Holding a monitoring of a leopard in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and its protection strategy” and "The complex study of applicable, prospective wild and cultivated food crops of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on a scientific basis" as well as heads of following grant projects - " “Collection, the complex analysis and publication of Nakhchivan literary environment, folklore, dialects and place names in the light of Azerbaijan ideology” and “Study of Nakhchivan history based on archaeological, ethnographic, epigraphic and Eastern sources, electronic registration and mapping of archaeological monuments" – corresponding members of ANAS Abulfez Guliyev and Veli Bakhshaliyev.
