At the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS held a general meeting devoted to anniversary of the of Khojaly tragedy. At the beginning participants of action observed a minute of silence for memory of victims of Khojaly genocide. Opened the event the Deputy Director for Science, Doctor of Philology Pasha Karimov noted that the Khojaly genocide was committed not only against Azerbaijan, but against the whole of humanity. He noted that in spite of the fact that passed the 22 years, the Azerbaijani people didn't forget Khojaly genocide, emphasized importance of carrying out actions for representation of the international public of the truth about Khojaly. P. Kerimov in detail told about the large-scale war crimes committed against civilians during genocide. The witness of the tragedy the research of institute, a veteran of the Karabakh war, journalist Shohrat Salimbeyli told about everything he saw during the Khojaly tragedy. He said that in the recently published book “Terrorism and bloody ground” reflected his collection of hard facts about the events of the Armenian fascism of atrocities against civilians committed by Armenian terrorists in the territories of Azerbaijan. On action of Ph.D. in philology Mehri Mammadov Ragub Kerimov, Akram Bagirov,, and also the staff of institute Agil Ganjali, Elvin Guseynli noted the need for informing the world community about the realities of Khojaly genocide.
