Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The results of the research program on "Development of physiological and molecular genetic bases of longevity" carried out at ANAS Institute of Physiology after A.I.Karayev in 2014-2016 were published in a number of scientific publications.

The "Structural features of the night sleep of long-livers of the southern zone of Azerbaijan" article co-authored by Director of the Institute, Dr. Ulduz Hashimova and Doctor of medical sciences Ali Allahverdiyev and PhD in medicine Aysel Allahverdiyeva was published in the International Journal of Applied and Fundamental Research.

Taking into account the urgency, the article was elected by the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and this year it was discussed at the Moscow International Salon of Education. In the research work was studied the structure of the night sleep of long-livers and elderly people living in the Lankaran region of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that, the event was held by the decree of the Government of Russia the Ministry of Education and Science.
