ANAS held a seminar devoted to the 1st medical aid

By the organizational support of the Second Special Department of the Staff of the Presidium of ANAS and Civil Defense Directorate of the Civil Defense Forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held a seminar for the chiefs of staff of CD scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS and members of sanitary groups.

At the event held at the Central Scientific Library, the head of the department Eldar Guliyev noted that, in recent years steps have been taken in the field of education of the chiefs of staff of the Civil Defense and seminars were held with the participation of specialists of ANAS. E. Guliyev, noting that our country is in a state of war and at any time can face an emergency situation, called on people to study first medical aid.

At the event, Vice-Rector of the Baku branch of the First Moscow State Medical University after I.M Sechenov, Doctor of Medicine Novruz Hajiyev delivered report on "Visual study of the rules of self-help and mutual assistance". The scientist in his report noted that, the 1st medical aid can be both the injured, surrounding, and medical workers of various categories. He noted that, with primary medical care the victim should immediately be evacuated from the disaster zone. The scientist stressed the importance of delivering the victim to the hospital after providing first aid in accordance with the type and severity of the injury received.

Then, deputy head of the Civil Defense Directorate of the Civil Defense Ministry, Colonel Gudrat Agayev said in his speech that many people are indifferent to the issue of studying first aid. He noted that detailed information on this is posted on the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Measures, in this regard, educational training is regularly conducted.

G.Agayev emphasized the importance of studying primary health care for the sake of people's safety. The colonel noted that the calmness and cold-bloodedness of those who render assistance in extreme cases is of great importance.

The seminar listenig reports of the chiefs of staff about the trainings of the Steering Committee on DF, held in May this year.

In conclusion, a number of current issues were considered.
