Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

September 19th is one of the prominent figures of Azerbaijan to the world science, oriental scientist, educator, doctor of philological sciences, professor Aida Imanguliyeva’s remembrance day.

On this occasion, the collective of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov visited the grave of Professor A.Imanguliyeva in the 2nd Alley of Honor and laid a wreath at the grave of the scientist.

Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva spoke about the 53-year history of the great scientist, her contribution to Oriental Studies in these years. Aida Imanguliyeva's scientific activity opened a new page in the study of contemporary Arabic literature and laid the foundations of a new school and loss of this prominent scientist was a great loss of Azerbaijani science as a whole, G.Abakhshaliyeva stressed.

Then Laura Orujova, leading researcher of Arabic philology department of the Institute of Oriental Studies, spoke about A. Imanguliyeva's rich scientific activity.
