Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Director of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi, Academician Mohsun Nagisoylu’s two-volume "Selected Works" published in "Elm" publishing house.

Academician Vasim Mammadaliyev is the scientific editor of the book devoted to the study of the textual and linguistic manuscripts of the Azerbaijani-Turkish translation works of the XV-XVI centuries.

In the new edition a number of monographs and selected articles of the text-linguist M.Nagisoylu have been collected. The book also includes scientific-publicist articles, lectures and speeches of the scientist published in periodicals written in different years.

The first volume speaks about the art of translation, basic types and characteristics of medieval Azerbaijan in Azerbaijan.

The second volume includes the paleography, orthography and translation issues of the Azerbaijani translation monument "Shuhadanama".

 Editor of "Selected Works" is Konul Mirzoyeva.
