Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Memorandum of cooperation among Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of ANAS and German Mining Museum Bochum and National Museum of Georgia was signed about complex investigations of ceramics and metallurgy of Paleolithic age of South Caucasus.

Under the agreement , between the years of 2014-2016, research expeditions are intending to be held in South Caucasus specially in western parts of Azerbaijan and eastern parts of Georgia by the organization of German Mining Museum Bochum. According to the agreement, ceramics and polymetal examples of the museum will be analyzed with the use of modern technologies at Germany's leading scientific laboratories.

Within the framework of cooperation, Azerbaijani and Georgian researchers will pass qualification trainings on polymetallurgy and ceramics in Germany. The results of the studies will be presented at international conferences be held in 2016 .

Memorandum was by signed Director of the , Dr of history Maisa Rahimova , head of research projects of Bochum Mining Museum, Professor Thomas Stollner and head of Georgian National Museum Irina Gambashidze.
