ANAS Central Scientific Library hosted an event dedicated to the founder of modern Hungary, the founder of the Hungary Academy of Sciences, economist, writer, political theorist, political scientist Ishtvan Szechenyi.
At the event Central Scientific Library and the Hungarian Embassy in Azerbaijan commemorated with a one-minute silence the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Director of the CNB, PhD on medical sciences Leyla Imanova, said that, 23 bilateral documents were signed between the two countries during the previous years, at the level of heads of state and government, parliamentarians and ministers.
She noted that, starting from 2016 CNB organized a series of events between the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that conferences, exhibitions, electronic catalogs of Imam Madach's "The Tragedy of Man" and the subtitles of the same animated film from Hungarian to Azerbaijani are dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Turkology Congress, Georgy Hazai and Bakir Chobanzade.
Noted that, conferences, exhibitions, electronic catalogs dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Turkological Congress, Georgy Hazai and Bakir Cobanzade, Imrada Madad's "The Tragedy of Man" and translated the subtitles of the same animated film from Hungarian into Azerbaijani language of this kind.
Hungary's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Viktor Szederkeny spoke at the event about the work done to develop relations between the two countries. He noted the similarities of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev with the Ishtvan Szechenyi.
Then, Zoltan Fonagi, Professor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences delivered a report on "The founder of modern Hungary, Ishtvan Szechenyi".
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev spoke about the work done by the embassy in the political, cultural, scientific and educational spheres.
V.Guliyev also spoke about the work done by the Hungarian Turkologist-scientist Georgi Hazain in the direction of bringing the Turkish part of the personal library to the CNB. At the end of the visit, the guests visited the Diplomatic Foundation Academy of CNB Academicians hall. Professor Zoltan Fonagy donated books to the Hungarian embassy.
