Presentation of “Werner von Siemens.Caucasus trips " book was held at Scientific Council of the Institute of History.

Honored Scientist and director of the Institute , a corresponding member of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov opened the meeting. Scientists gave detailed information about historical , political and cultural relations of Azerbaijan with Europe , as well as Germany, the works of foreign travelers who travel our country , German villages built in the nineteenth century in western Azerbaijan , the activities of Siemens in Azerbaijan. Y.Mahmudov expressed confidence in further development of relations of Germany with our country. Strengthening the propaganda about Azerbaijani truth in Germany is an important issue, he noted

“Deputy of Milli Majlis Sevinj Huseinova made a lecture on theme “First source to learn the history of Gadabay region”.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Azerbaijan Heidrun Tempel made a report on theme “Azerbaijani-German relations : the historical past , the modern era , prospects”.

Head of the department, PhD in history Haji Hasanov , deputy Rafig Mammadhasanov noted the book as a valuable resource for studying the history of Gadabay, as well as the South Caucasus.
