In connection with the invitation ANAS young scientists to participate in research projects of the NATO “Science for Peace and Security” at the Presidium of ANAS president of ANAS Akif Alizadeh met the head of NATO, Deniz Yuksel Beten.
During the meeting, the guest gave detailed information about the purpose of the Alliance program, and noted that the program of the Alliance covers counterterrorism, cyber defense, energy security, nuclear policy, economy and safety assessment and other destinations. Ms. D.Y.Beten stressed that currently the intellectual youth of a number of countries taking part in the projects supported by this program. For the youth of Egypt, Afghanistan and other countries held relevant trainings and seminars.
Academician A. Alizadeh said that ANAS participates in some NATO projects, including covering earth science, environmental issues, etc. He noted the importance of building intellectual youth in ensuring energy security, the fight against terrorism and other, and further development of research of young scientists on these areas.
Note that in order to attend the program for young scientists ANAS will organize trainings and seminars.
