Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Director of the Institute of Azerbaijan History, Doctor of History Maryam Seyidbeyli  visited the city of Kiev, Ukrainian on March 11-14, 2018.

Within the framework of the visit, the scientist participated in the XXVIII International Symposium on Science and History of Science on "100th Anniversary of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences: Past and present".

Presenting the report on "History of Education in the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR)", Seyidbeyli informed the government about the education policy of ADR, young people sent to foreign countries and Ukrainian higher education institutions to study.

The Azerbaijani scientist also participated as a member of the expert council of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences on listening and analysis of the annual report of the Scientific Technical Potential Research and Scientific History Institute after G.Dobrov.

Then, he met with the director of this institute, Professor B.Malitsky, Russian scientist, Professor U.Baturin and prominent scientists from Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Belarus. The sides exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest, and discussed prospects for cooperation.
