book "Archaeological Surveys in the Nakhchivantepe" by the employees of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was published in three languages ​​(Azerbaijani, English, Russian).

Corresponding member of ANAS Vali Bakhshaliyev, PhD in history, associate professor Zeynab Guliyeva, Turan Hashimova, Kamran Mehbaliyev and Elmar Bakhshaliyev are co-authors of the book published by the Decree of the Presidium.

The publication contains the results of archeological researches carried out in the Nakhchivantepe.

The results of archaeological research confirm that the Nakhchivantepe belonged to the early stage of the Eneolithic period, and the settlement in Nakhchivan began eight thousand years ago. The authors state that the study of the new settlement is important not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the study of consecutive stages of the Eneolithic culture of the whole South Caucasus.
