Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The delegation led by the rector of the Beijing University of Foreign Languages of China, Professor Peng Long visited ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi. The goal was to expand scientific and literary ties between the two countries.

Vice-president of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Isa Gabibeli  told the guests about the history of the institution he founded, his achievements and conducted research. Speaking about the development of Azerbaijani-Chinese literary relations, I.Habibbayli stressed that, the institute organized courses of the Chinese language, and prepared theses covering Chinese literature.

P.Long brought to the attention that, the Beijing initiative "Single Pipeline, One Way" contributed to the development of the humanitarian sphere in China, and as a result, interest in this country to the language and culture of Azerbaijan located on the ancient Silk Road increased.

Then, the delegation got acquainted with the Department of Azerbaijani-Asian Literary Relations.
