Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Petrochemical Processes held the first assembly of young scholars and experts.

Assembly brought together director of the institute, deputy directors, members of scientific council, chief departments and young associates of the institute. Opening the event, director of the institute Dr. Chemistry prof. Vagif Abbasov informed on the academic performance of the institute led by him.

Average age of the institute associates is over 45. More than 70 young scholar and experts have been received in latest 10 months. 6 individuals have been sent for a one-year internship at the expense of state, he stated.

Then, the youth nominated to the Council have been elected by vote.

Consisting of 25-member, Council will be chaired by Narmina Abdullayeva. 3 candidates from the Institute put forward for Council of Young Scientists and Experts.

Finally, the director of the institute congratulated the attendees on the occasion of establishment the Council of Young Scientists and Experts.
