Mohammed Amin Rasulzadeh's letters presented at the National Museum of Azerbaijan History

The presentation of 29 letters, written by one of the founders of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, prominent statesman Mohammed Amin Rasulzadeh to Azerbaijani refugee Suleyman Sonino, was presented at the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS.

Director of the museum, academician Naila Velikhanli said that the event was held within the framework of the Decree of the Head of the State "On the 100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic" dated May 16, 2017. He noted that on May 28, 1918, the Independence Declaration, which proclaimed the independence of Azerbaijan, was adopted and based on the principles of the people's power and equality of people from the first days of the existence of the ADR, race, nationality, religion and class unequality were eliminated.

Then, Scientific Secretary of the Museum, Ph.D. in history Farhad Jabbarov said the letters had been presented in the 1950s and 1955s. The scientist said that the letters were presented to the museum by Suleiman Tekinar.

He noted that M.Resulzadeh shared his views on the tasks facing the Azerbaijani emigration with S.Takinar, his views and recommendations on his creative activity.

Later, Rauf Hasanov and Leyla Deghner, the daughter of S.Takinar, who presented their letters to the museum, made their speeches.

At the end, fragments were shown from the film "In difficult ways ".
