"Role and place of social policy in the state security of the Republic of Azerbaijan" monograph by doctor of philosophy on political science Gunel Melikli was published.

The scientific editor of the book is Professor Hadi Rajabli, the reviewers are Professors Ali Ahmedov, Izzat Rustamov and Hijran Huseynova.

In the monograph social policy is analyzed as one of the main directions of the state, its historical development, tasks, mechanisms of implementation and social stability are explained.

The monograph, which consists of three chapters, covers the social policy of Azerbaijan in the years of independence, the problems of the development of national welfare, the main features of the social status of Azerbaijani citizens, the role of social policy in ensuring national security and other important areas.
