Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

An event titled "Social Innovations and Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan" was held in the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.

The event was attended by representatives of ANAS High Tech Park, Ministry of Youth and Sport, Ministry of Economy, Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, State Fund for Information Technology Development (SFITD), “Social Hub” Innovations Center,  United Nations, civil society representatives, as well as business incubators and young scientists.

Nargiz Khalaf, Co-founder of Social Hub, said that one of the main goals of the organization represented by the “Social Hub” was to promote social innovation and entrepreneurship in our country and to integrate into the global ecosystem.

Then the director of ANAS HT Park, PhD in agricultural sciences Vugar Babayev spoke about the importance of social innovation and entrepreneurship for our country. He noted that cooperation with international organizations is of great importance for the development of this sphere.

Later, the co-founder of the “Social Hub” Amin Mammadov informed about the center's activities and future projects.

Finally, Vusal Suleymanli, the other co-founder of the interprise, made a presentation on "Social Innovations and Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan".
