Delegation led by rector of Uzbek State University of Languages ​​and Literature named after Alisher Navaiy, Professor Shohrat Sirajaddinov was guest of ANAS Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi.

Guests were welcomed by vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbeyli and talked about bilateral political relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. He said that high-level relations between our countries today create the basis for the development of scientific relations between the two countries.

He also talked about the Azerbaijani-Uzbek literary relations at the enterprise headed by him, and noted that the Azerbaijani-Turkmen-Uzbek literary relations, as well as the literary departments of the Turkic-speaking peoples, were operating in this direction.

During the meeting it was decided to establish the Center of Literature named after Alisher Navaiy in the Department of Literature of Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Uzbek Literature and the Center for Language and Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi in ​​the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature.
