Exhibition of rare exhibits as a result of joint work of Azerbaijan and France

This year is the 10th anniversary of joint cooperation between Azerbaijani and French archaeologists. it is planned to organize an exhibition reflecting the results of joint research in Baku. The event will be held with the support of the Embassy of France in Azerbaijan, ANAS Presidium, the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography and the Azerbaijan National Art Museum. Here, the results of the excavations carried out within 10 years will be demonstrated. Currently, archaeologists are selecting rare exhibits for demonstration at the exhibition, stored in the Science Foundation of the Institute.

France is represented by famous scientists, for many years working in the management and composition of international expeditions - Professor of the French National Center for Scientific Research Bertil Llionett, an employee of this center, a specialist in modern archaeological technologies Nicholas Geilhard and Professor of the Eastern Department of the Lyon University Lyonnais 2 Michel Casanova.

According to M.Casanova, the samples found were submitted for analysis to the world's advanced laboratories. At the same time, French scientists carried out the restoration work of some finds.

Note that, according to the agreement signed in 2007 between the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography and Lyon University Lyon 2, the above exhibition will also be held in Paris and Tbilisi.
