Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Director of ANAS Institute of the History of Science, Doctor of History, Associate Professor Maryam Seyidbayli  attended the meeting of the Scientific Council of the International Associations of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

At the event, organized by the Institute of History and the Dobrov Research Institute on Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History of NASU M.Seyidbayli delivered a paper on "The current state of the academies of Ukraine and Azerbaijan: prospects for cooperation and interaction within the framework of the International Association of Academies of Sciences".

Speaking about the development of Azerbaijani science, she noted that, the globalizing world has become an integral part of the scientific system. M.Seyidbayli also spoke on activities of the Institute of the History of Science. During the event, M.Seyidbayli was awarded the medal of the 100th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
