Republican scientific conference on "Development of styles and ways of enrichment of vocabulary of the language in the years of independence"

On December 25, the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi of ANAS held republican scientific conference on "Development of styles in the years of independence and ways of enrichment of vocabulary of the language".

Opening the conference, Director of the Institute, Academician Mohsun Nagisoylu spoke about the ways of enriching the language content. These changes are related to scientific and technical progress and are more prominent in the development of publicist-style.

M.Nagisoylu said that the enrichment of vocabulary in modern times is due to Turkish language.

"Introduction of new international words is normal in globalization period. But you can not include any new word in the language you want. We must be sensitive to this issue. If these words have translation in Azerbaijani, then we should use them, M.Nagisoylu said.

Professor Baba Maharramli, Assistant Director of the Institute of Linguistics, PhD in philology, Professor Sayali Sadigova , Professor Ismail Kazimov "Stylistic novelty", Aynel Mashadiyeva, PhD in philology, Habib Mirzoyev, assistant professor, Ilkin Asger made reports at the meeting.
