The next meeting of Presidium of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was held.

The event was opened by the chairman of the department, acad. Ismayil Hajiyev, familiarizing the participants with the issues on the agenda. The scientist talked about the importance of Wikipedia's virtual encyclopedia and noted that the department should expand the work of its employees. The Chairperson gave relevant instructions.

Then, PhD in history, associate professor Sara Hajiyeva’s report "The formation of carpet weaving art in Nakhchivan and ways of development" was listened. She talked about ancient history and traditions Nakhchivan’s carpet-weaving art.

The meeting also reviewed a number of personnel issues. By decision of the department in a number of institutes, employees were transferred to the position of junior research assistants.

Moreover, by the decision of the Presidium, employee of the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Rashad Zulfugarov has been appointed Senior researcher of the Division, Senior researcher, Doctor of History, Associate Professor Yashar Rahimov Scientific Secretary of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology.

At the end a number of current issues were discussed.
