The next meeting of Presidium of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was held.

Opening the meeting, the chairman of the department, academician Ismail Hajiyev familiarized the event participants with the issues on the agenda. The scientist gave relevant instructions on the preparation of conference materials dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Then, the scientific report of the department head at the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature of the Division, Ph.D. in Art Studies, associate professor Ali Gahramanov's "Boyukkhan Nakhchivanski and theater" report was listened. He noted that the Nakhchivan Theater had a great impact on the cultural renaissance of the people, national awakening and enlightenment.

After the report was debated, discussions were held on the subject.

Then the chairman of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council of the division, Doctor of Philology Nargiz Ismayilova drew attention to the work plan of the organization headed by him.

Head of Scientific-organizational Division, PhD in Agrarian Sciences Orkhan Bagirov told about the preparation of the bibliographic index of scientific works of the department staff for the year 2018.

In addition, partial changes have been made in the scientific councils of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, Art, Language and Literature.
