Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Eldar Mustafayev, associate of ANAS Institute of Genetics PhD in biology attended the “World Food Prize” presentation ceremony held in U.S. Des Moines. The three-day event discussed the current state of agriculture, proposals put forward in the direction of problems solution, and stressed out the use of biotechnological methods as very important factors.

During the event, meeting for winners of the Norman Borlaug program from different countries was held. Informed that, this program plays an important role in the agricultural sector, the research activities carried out under the program.
