Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Radiation Problems held the event dedicated to June 15th – the National Salvation Day. The event, which was attended by the leaders of the councils of women of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS, first performed the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Samadov opened the event, informed about the activities of the institute, results and international relations.

He noted that, the return to political power of the architect and founder of modern independent Azerbaijan, national leader Heydar Aliyev the 15th – the National Salvation Day was a part of history.

Deputy of the Milli Mejlis, Doctor of Political Sciences Ganira Pashayeva spoke about the historical significance of the Day of National Salvation, which has become a glorious and honorable page in the history of our statehood.

She said that, in 1993 the returning of the national leader to power have brought the stability and security to our country.

Chair of the Women's Council of the Institute of Radiation Problems, Deputy Director of the Institute, Associate Professor Ravan Mehdiyeva told on the exceptional merits of Heydar Aliyev in our modern history of statehood, attention to the development of science in our country.

Chairman of ANAS Women’s Council, Doctor of Philosophy Mirzazadeh Rena, Ph.D. in Physics Amina Mikayilova, doctoral student Fargan Asadov and others spoke about the stages of development in society after the coming to power of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
