Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A large-scale meeting was held at ANAS High Technology Park with the representative of “SGS” (Azerbaijan), one of the world's leading inspection and certification agencies – “SGS-Azeri” LTD. The main goal of the meeting was to discuss cooperation between the two organizations and participation in joint projects.

The event was attended by ANAS High Technology Park Director, Ph.D in Economy Nazim Shukurov, Deputy Director Mammad Baghirzade, Director of the Strategic Scientific and Analytical Center of ANAS Arzu Alizadeh, Quality Manager Kamal Yusifov, Executive Director of “SGS Azeri” LTD Seymur Aghayev, Quality Manager Lyudmila Zakharova, Business Manager Dilara Tagiyeva.

During the meeting, the “SGS” delegation familiarized with Strategic Scientific and Analytical Center of ANAS, which meets international standards, accredited and conducts high-level tests of gas, oil and petrochemical products.

The guests were given extensive information on the main activities of the center, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, innovative conditions created in the test rooms, as well as testing equipment and measuring instruments.

It was noted that, the full-fledged analytical laboratory in line with international testing methods is expected to become a fundamental research center for scientists working in the country and abroad.

The global “SGS” company, with headquarters in Switzerland with 97,000 employees, has numerous offices and laboratories around the world, as well as a large customer base.
