ANAS Ganja Division held “Power of intelligent word” round table on November 12 - Constitution Day.

Fistly, the participants of the event visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Ganja main Square and laid flowers.

Speaking at the event, chairman of the Ganja Division, academician Fuad Aliyev spoke on the date of our 1st national constitution adoption, authored by great leader Heydar Aliyev. He said that, our 1st national constitution, adopted in 1995 by popular vote, marked a new era in our history of statehood and is one of the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s most significant achievements.

Speaking at the event, chairman of the Center for International Studies of Social and Political Processes Samir Adigozalli, head of the Department of the Institute of Local History of the Ganja Division, Professor Hasanbala Sadigov, editor-in-chief of “Dövlət və qanun” newspaper Yasamin Askarova noted that, the Constitution is a key protection tool of society, development, prosperity and building relationships, and regarded the adoption of this high legislative act as one of the most important events in our modern history.

It was also emphasized that, the basis of these successes is a visionary policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev, the successor of the political course of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

At the end of the event, to the chairman of ANAS Ganja Division, academician Fuad Aliyev was presented the letter of gratitude by International Research Center for Social and Political Processes.
