National Museum of Azerbaijan History held presentation of new equipment bought by grant of Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the frame of “Providing the Recovery lab of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History via modern devices and equipment”.

Director of the museum, acad. Naila Valikhanli, vice-president of ANAS, director of theInstitute of Literature Isa Habibayli, Science Development Foundation Executive Director Elchin Babayev, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nazim Samedov spoke about the new equipment and facilities and noted that these will assist for treatment and subsequent rehabilitation of any kind of historical materials whether it is in private collections or discovered during archaeological research. Equipment are as follows - ask desk produced by “Willard Conservation Ltd” UK, Proxima micro-welding device set produced by “GBFLLI Bertoncello” Italy, ultrasonic cleaning bath against corrosion and oxidation of rigid objects provided by the Italian “CTS” company, vacuum pump for creating stuffiness space during the complicated chemical processes produced by European companies so on.
