Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

It is known that on the occasion of the 650th anniversary of the great thinker and poet Imadaddin Nasimi, first vice president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva launched tree planting campaigns in all regions of the country within the initiative of planting 650,000 trees a day.

One of the regions involved in the action is Sheki. Representatives of a number of institutions and organizations, as well as the staff of the Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS participated in the tree-planting action at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Note that, this large-scale campaign is of great importance in perpetuating the memory of the great poet.
