Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On May 15, a meeting was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov of ANAS to discuss the work done and define the tasks ahead.

The meeting was chaired by the director of the institute, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva.

It was stated that, book by PhD Ammar Abbasov dubbed "Issues of early Islamic history", including  "Turkish history and culture" book by PhD in Philology Sadagat Gasimli, "Interpretation of the problems of Islam, nation, nationalism and national state in modern Turkey" (in Russian) by PhD in Philosophy Esmeralda Hasanova. And others are ready for publication.

In addition, the meeting has scheduled "Baku Congress of Oriental Peoples-1920. Eastern World 100 years ago and today” to be held in autumn, the work on the republican scientific conference entitled "Nariman Narimanov - a great educator and socio-political figure" on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Nariman Narimanov.
