The interaction of the Safavid state of Azerbaijan with the Turkish-Muslim sultanates of India was studied

The book "Relations of the Safavid state of Azerbaijan with the Turkish-Muslim sultans of India" (“Azərbaycan Səfəvi dövlətinin Hindistanın türk-müsəlman sultanlıqları ilə əlaqələri”) by the deputy director on scientific affairs of the Institute of History of ANAS, doctor of historical sciences Tofig Najafli has been published.

The scientific editor of the book, published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute, the project manager and the author of the "Foreword" is the director of the institution, academician Yagub Mahmudov.

The monograph examines the interaction of the Safavid state of Azerbaijan with the Turkish-Muslim sultanates of India for the first time in our historiography. The book provides detailed information about the Adilshahs, Nizamshahs and Qutbshahs states that emerged in the Dean region of India in the late 15th century.

The monograph is intended for historians, students studying the history of foreign policy of the Safavid state of Azerbaijan, as well as a wide range of readers.
