Historically, there has always been a special place and role of women in Azerbaijani society. Azerbaijani women for centuries, preserving national and spiritual values, mental characteristics, have become the standard of dignity and wisdom. Azerbaijani women with a firm conviction, with their deep intelligence and erudition, love for the Motherland, inexhaustible talent, are actively participating in the social and cultural life of the Azerbaijani people today, selflessly serve the people and society. Now Azerbaijani women are making a valuable contribution to the development of independent Azerbaijan with their achievements in the fields of science, education, health, culture and public administration.

Today, in the person of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, the active activity of Azerbaijani women in the socio-political, scientific, cultural and humanitarian spheres, work to promote values such as intercultural dialogue, tolerance, humanism and are a vivid manifestation of the national and universal values that Azerbaijani women possess.

It can be said that in all fields of science, Azerbaijani women scientists have achieved significant success at the level of world science achievements. At the same time, they actively participate in the dissemination of scientific and intellectual knowledge across the country, take an active civic position in public and political life. Women scientists of ANAS, including those who take an active part in the training of highly qualified scientific personnel, the organization of scientific management, play an exceptional role in the life of the Academy.

Undoubtedly, ladies, you will continue to contribute to the development of Azerbaijani science by taking an active part in the development of our science, the formation of a generation of young scientists, the preservation and development of existing scientific schools, the creation of new scientific knowledge.
