ANAS Presidium held a seminar of Department of Law and Human Resources on "Regulation of office management and staff issues at ANAS regional scientific centers".

Opening the event, academician-secretary of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev spoke about the purposeful reforms carried out in the ANAS under the leadership of the president of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh for the last 2 years.

Speaking about the work done in connection with the improvement of the legal framework at ANAS, academician spoke about the reforms carried out in the field of labor discipline, law and staff policy, as well as on measures taken to improve the work in this area.

R.Alguliyev stressed that ensuring the effective results of legal reforms undertaken by each institution in the first place depends on the organization of the institution in accordance with modern standards.

Speaking about the venture at ANAS Presidium Department of Law and Human Resources, R.Alguliyev noted that the main goal was to ensure conducting the process of staff training at the Academy, as well as the enforcement of a number of decrees and orders received by President Ilham Aliyev.

He stressed the importance of documentation at the Academy in accordance with the requirements of the Azerbaijani statehood.

Noted the need for certification of persons engaged in clerical and staff matters, the scientist stressed the purposefulness of special training and certification for them.

Academician-secretary of ANAS also put forward a proposal in connection with the closing of the workshop for the heads of scientific institutions and organizations of the Academy.

He informed that, on June 24 of this year at the meeting of ANAS Presidium will be discussed the Action Plan on e-science. Talking about the usage of e-government in the country, the scientist spoke about the informatization of office work, the using of electronic document management and others.

Then acted the deputy chief of the Department of Law and Human Resources Rzagulu Hajiyev who brought to the attention of the participants the claims arising from the Decree approved by national leader Heydar Aliyev dated September 27, 2003 "Instructions on office management in state authorities, departments, organizations and institutions" and AR Law "On Amendments to the Labor Code of the Azerbaijan Republic".

Then, head of Department of Law and Human Resources of ANAS Presidium Adminisrtation, PhD in law Rasim Agasiev noted that, for the execution of orders, academician Akif Alizadeh and management staff was sent to Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N.Tusi, Ganja and Nakhchivan Branches of the academy, as well as to Sheki and Lankaran scientific centers of ANAS in May.

He said that the implementation of such measures is improvement of office work.

In conclusion the heads of regional department and centers of ANAS acted and noted that in order to address the shortcomings they had been given appropriate instructions.

The speakers expressed their gratitude to employees of department for methodical and practical assistance.
