“Set of laws for the privileged prisoners” book published within the project dubbed “Public support for adaptation and rehabilitation of the dismissed” implemented by joint organization of ANAS Institute of Human Rights and International Society for Disabled and by assistance of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the auspices of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on June 30.

The event, which was attended by representatives of governmental and non-governmental agencies, international organizations, scientists and public figures, deputy director for scientific affairs of the institute, Doctor of Philology Lala Ahmadova reported that, book consisting of the 386 pages was published by the publishing house "Elm ve tehsil".

Author of the book is chairman of International Society for Disabled Tahir Khudiyev, editor – is a board member, head of the medical services of Public Union, Professor Ahmad Babayev.

The bulk is prepared with reference to the relevant laws of the Azerbaijan Republic. Besides, the edition also includes the European and American penitentiary rules.

Speaking at the event, T.Khudiyev estimated successfully conduction of 1st European games "Baku-2015" in the country the as the great success of the Azerbaijani people and state.

Having informed on activity of the organization run by him, T. Khudiyev noted that, a main goal of the association is establishment of cooperation with public associations of the disabled of all categories, carrying out exchange of experience and application of the experience in our country.

Chairman of the association said that, the bulk published for education aroused a great interest on audience. Taking into account reader's demand the collection was republished.

Head department of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of ANAS, Doctor of Law Habil Gurbanov, Director of the Central Scientific Library, PhD in Medicine Leyla Imanova, press counselor of the Embassy of Turkey in Azerbaijan Hamid Karadeniz, first secretary of the Embassy of Norway to Azerbaijan Marco Soldik and adviser on the rights of persons with disabilities Commissioner for Human Rights of the Azerbaijan Republic Mugalib Mahmudov and others spoke about the importance of the publication.
