In accordance with the program of activities prepared in accordance with the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev on the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the German translation and publication of the epos "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud", ranges of various activities carried out due to study and promote the epos "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" in an even wider.

One of these events was held jointly with the Baku international center of multiculturalism and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). State Advisor of the Azerbaijan Republic on International Affairs, multiculturalism and religion, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Baku International Center of multiculturalism Academician Kamal Abdulla spoke on "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud and Friedrich von Ditz - 200" for the employees of Institute of Economy of ANAS.

At the event, director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Professor Nazim Imanov, in turn, expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of the joint project.

Academician Kamal Abdullayev stressed that the epos "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" is our primary source revealing the rich historical past of the Azerbaijani people, lifestyle, and culture in all its shades. It was reported that there is already a great need in the study of the epos is not only by writers, but also by representatives of other fields of science. In particular, issues related to economic science in the epos should be studied in depth, and historical and economic development of our people and the history of our state should be traced precisely because the study of this epos. He stressed that the executive order signed by President Ilham Aliyev opened a new stage in the development of Gorgud study. State Advisor stressed the need for unity of all the institutions of ANAS towards the implementation of this Order. This confirms once again the words spoken by the national leader of our people Heydar Aliyev while celebrating the 1300th anniversary of the epos "Epos Kitabi-Dede Gorgud is a mirror of history, ethnic memory of the archaic cognition of the Azerbaijani people, has great value as a song of our speech, language, morality and spirit."

Other speakers noted the importance of the behavior of such events, as well as more in-depth study epos "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud".

Finally, it was decided to hold lectures on "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud and Friedrich von Ditz - 200" in other institutions of ANAS.
