President Ilham Aliyev visited the pavilion of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History

September 27, in Baku EXPO Centre opened the 2nd Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2016.

The exhibition “ADEX” allows you to see samples of military equipment with modern technology to ensure the defense. In addition to the exhibition of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Republic, military establishments and organizations of various countries of the world, demonstrates the pavilion of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the pavilion.

Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS, Academician Naila Velikhanli, welcomed the head of state, informed the President about the historical artifacts exhibited in the pavilion, as well as samples belonging to Azerbaijan's military history. It was noted that collected in the museum exhibits, weapons are a clear proof of the fact that the production of weapons to Azerbaijan has historically been at a high level.

After reviewing the pavilion of the museum, the President noted that the participation of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History at the exhibition is a welcome fact. He said that museums play an important role in the study and promotion of the history of Azerbaijan, informing the world community of the truth and the cultural heritage of the country.

In conclusion the President wished success to the Museum's work in studying and promoting the history of heroism of Azerbaijan people.

Note that 216 companies from 34 countries and 25 official delegations from 19 countries are taking part in the 2016 ADEX. In general, the representatives of 44 countries are taking part in the exhibition.
