Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Heydar Aliyev Center in Surakhani district of Baku hosted a conference on "Oil strategy of Heydar Aliyev", dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The event was held with the joint organizational support of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after Academician Y.Mammadaliyev of ANAS, the Executive Power of Surakhani district, the Heydar Aliyev Center of Surakhany district and the Surakhani district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party.

First the participants of the conference visited the monument to the national leader, erected in Heydar Aliyev Park on the territory of the district.

Then the participants got acquainted with the exhibition of schoolchildren engaged in creative work in the art circle of the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Opening the conference, the head of the Executive Power of Surakhani district Ilgar Abbasov noted the exceptional role of Heydar Aliyev's oil strategy in the transformation of Azerbaijan into a country with its own national heritage, integration of the country's economy into the world economy, as well as political, social and economic development.

At the event, the director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, Academician Vagif Abbasov made a report describing the oil history of Azerbaijan, the position and influence of oil in the fate of our country, the irreplaceable role of the great leader in the development of the oil industry. It was said that the successful oil strategy of the national leader played an important role in the development of the education and science of Azerbaijan.

Then, on the report, Vugar Seyidov, chairman of Surakhani district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, Deputy Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, Doctor of Technical Sciences Tarana Mamedova and others spoke.

Within the framework of the conference, Academician Vagif Abbasov was presented with a memorable gift of Heydar Aliyev Center of Surakhani district.

The event hosted a presentation of postage stamps dedicated to the memory of the great leader.

In conclusion, a film was shown on the life and work of a nationwide leader, commissioned by the center - Father of the Nation.
