Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book "Literary-scientific portraits" by the chief scientific employer of ANAS Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, Professor Vugar Ahmed has been published.

The author has collected portraits of the author about master poet Mahammadhuseyn Shahriyar, Huseyn Javid, Aliaga Vahid, Seyid Jafar Pishavari, Haji Mail and others.

The first essay in the book is about ANAS Vice-President, Director of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbeyli.

In addition to the position of academician I.Habibbeyli in the field of contemporary literary criticism, he speaks of his services as a public figure, his activities in the development of science and education, values and human qualities are emphasized.

Presenting the poetic translation of Mahammadhuseyn Shahriyar's Persian poems into the Azerbaijani reader, Ahmed master emphasizes the simplicity of the poet's mysterious creation, trying to reveal the essence of this simplicity, and valued the poem "Haydar babaya salam" justly as a creative achievement of our national literature.

The book also includes an essay about the author's teacher, memorable scholar, Xeyrulla Mammadov. Book is a valuable example of the teacher-student relationship, as well as revealing the characteristic features of Xeyrulla Mammadov as a scientist and teacher.
