Next meeting of the Executive board of ANAS Young Scientists and Specialists Council (YSSC) was held.

Opening the meeting chairman of YSSC PhD in Physics Famin Salmanov spoke about the significance of the State Program "Azerbaijani Youth in 2017-2021", approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 15, 2017.

 He noted that, the main goal of the State Program is to achieve more effective implementation of youth policy, create conditions for active participation of young people in all spheres, identify their creative and innovative potential, increase attention to employment and youth education, efficient use of modern information and communication technologies .

F.Salmanov informed that, in this document the proposals put forward in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as ANAS and the Fund for the Development of Science under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will be directly involved in the implementation of the State Program.

The chairman of the council noted that, the first congress of young scientists of Azerbaijan is provided for December of this year.

In conclusion, the newly elected chairmen of the Councils of young scientists and specialists of some of the Academy's institutes were presented to the Board.
