Today, ANAS Institute of Manuscripts after M.Fuzuli held a scientific seminar on "Heydar Aliyev and Institute of Manuscripts" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Firstly, the memory of the national leader was remembered for a minute of silence.

Director of the institute, academician Teymur Karimli spoke about the life and activity of prominent statesman, architect and founder of modern Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. Saying that the great leader devoted all his life to the progress of Azerbaijan, the scientist said that he was a rare personality that incorporated all the positive qualities of his leader and devoted his entire life to the development of his people and country.

It was noted that, Heydar Aliyev, returning to the government at the request of the people during the difficult period of the country, relied on people's support to save Azerbaijan from the danger of extinction. He brought stability, economic growth, social development, democracy to Azerbaijan and took steps to make the country's comprehensive progress.

T.Kerimli noted that, the Institute of Manuscripts has been formed thanks to his care and attention, as well as the outstanding personality in the development of Azerbaijan's scientific potential, preservation and development of material and spiritual culture. He noted that today the national leader's political course is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, reported deputy directors of the institute - Ph.D in Philology Aybeniz Aliyeva-Kangarli on "Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan Science", Ph.D in Philology Pasha Karimov on "The Greatest Protector of the Manuscripts Institute (Heydar Aliyev)".

The scientific secretary of the institute, doctor of philological sciences, docent Azizaga Najafzadeh, the senior scientific worker, the senior lecturer Tahira Hasanzadeh, prof. Ragub Karimov, leading researcher Yusif Bagirzade, spoke about the contributions of the national leader to the Azerbaijani science and education.

At the end of the event, the participants got acquainted with the book exhibition "Heydar Aliyev - 95: Our Independence is eternal".
